Methods of wage payments
Basically there are two main systems of wage payments-(i) Time based wage system, and (ii) Piece rate system.

These two are the fundamental principles of calculating wages for the workers and widely used in all the firms. Other plans are combinations of these two plans in varying proportions. We shall discuss here under these two basic systems of wage payment.
